RESERVATIONS |
|
There is a two night minimum on all
weekend reservations; three night minimum applies on
holiday weekends. A copy of your drivers license, credit
card used for deposit and auto tag number are required
at check-in. The credit card must belong to the person
reserving the cabin/cottage. We accept Visa, MasterCard,
Discover or American Express cards over the phone. Some
accommodations are Non-Smoking, smoking is permitted
outside only. Sorry, we do not allow any pets unless you
reserved a pet cabin. See our pet policy below for pet
policy and rules. |
AGE LIMITS
|
|
You must be 21 or older to make a reservation. A
responsible adult must occupy each cabin or
cottage for the entire visit. |
ADVANCED DEPOSITS |
|
Deposits must be received within 14 days to
retain your cabin reservation. A deposit equal
to one night's NIGHTLY RATE is required to
secure your reservation. WEEKLY and HOLIDAY
packages require a 100% deposit at the time of
your reservation. Reservation confirmations
will not be sent. We process credit cards
immediately for deposits. The deposit will be
credited to the last day of your reservation.

CANCELLATION |
|
Cancellations 14 day or more days prior to
arrival date will result in a 50% deposit
refund. We cannot refund a cancellation of a
guaranteed reservation made within two weeks of
anticipated arrival date. Reservations may not
be "moved" to another date to avoid cancellation
fees. We must charge for the minimum number of
nights required if you cancel a night after
making your reservation. Our cancellation policy
is intended to be fair to our guests and yet
prevent the loss of income to our business.
Remember, once we reserve a cottage for you, we
remove it from the market, refusing all other
requests. |
CHECK IN
- CHECK OUT |
|
Check-in is after 3:00 pm. Due to
the necessity of cleaning and
inspecting your cabin, we do not
allow check-ins earlier than 3:00 pm.
Due to unforeseen circumstances,
and/or on particularly heavy arrival
dates, check-in times could be
delayed. If you do plan to arrive
early, you may want to go out on the
lake and keep your perishables in
ice chests. Please make plans for
older guests and infants who may be
uncomfortable if you arrive early
and must wait for your cabin. The
guest named on the reservation must
check in, unless prior arrangements
have been made with us. The
remaining balance is due before the
cabin may be occupied by any guest
in the party. If you need to
check-in after our office has
closed, your cabin key will be
inside our late arrival box located
directly outside the store's
entrance. Late check-ins must come
to the office between 9:00 am and
11:00 am the following morning to
pay the remaining balance and
complete required paperwork. Guests
who do not do so will be assessed a
late processing fee. Guests agree to
abide by all guidelines given at
check-in.
Check-out
is no later than 10:00 am and is
strictly enforced.
Unless prior arrangements have been
made, any guest who does not vacate
the rental cabin by 10:00 am will be
assessed a late check-out fee of $25
per half hour. You do not need to
return to the office to check-out.
Guest agrees to follow all check-out
procedures as explained in arrival
information. Please respect
check-out time, as we need time to
prepare the cabin for the next
guest. |
REFUND POLICY |
|
We will do everything we can to make sure your
cabin is ready for you. As in any home,
malfunctions occasionally happen. No refunds
will be issued for non-working amenities,
malfunctions in equipment (i.e. fireplaces,
appliances, televisions, internet, stereos,
VCRs, etc.), early departures, or for any
weather conditions. |
NO SHOWS |
|
Your reservation will be held only until 9A.M.
the morning after your scheduled arrival. If you
do not cancel the reservation prior to your
arrival date and do not arrive as scheduled, you
will forfeit your deposit. |
OCCUPANCY LIMITS ENFORCED |
|
Each cabin has a maximum vehicle and person
occupancy. We insist that the number of guests
is not exceeded. Our cabins are priced for basic
occupancy. There is a $15 per person charge for
all guests over the basic number, but no more
than cabin maximum. Children under 8 are free,
but do count as a cabin guest. |
PARTIES |
|
We do not allow house parties or wedding receptions in any
of our cabins. We promote a family atmosphere. Children 17
and under must be supervised by an adult at all times. |
PESTS and THE ENVIRONMENT |
|
To ensure the best guest experience, we perform
regular pest control maintenance on all of our
cabins. Because our cabins are located in wooded
areas we cannot guarantee that they will be pest
or creature-free. We do not offer refunds or
discounts for pests including ladybugs. Ladybugs
are a part of our environment and we are unable
to prevent them from occasionally visiting our
cabins. Please contact our Reservations
personnel during regular business hours to
report any problems, and we will do our best to
help you. |

FIREPLACES |
|
Fireplaces that are electric are usable
year-round, but should not be used at any time
when air conditioning is on in the cabin. Gas
fireplaces are seasonal and are not in operation
from April through September. |
PET POLICY |
|
A $15.00 per night/ per pet,
non-refundable fee plus applicable taxes
will be charged. This fee will cover the
expense this resort incurs to clean and
disinfect the guest cottage. There is a
$100 pet deposit, per pet, which is
refundable upon a satisfactory
inspection of your cabin after you have
checked out. If in our judgment there is
excessive cleaning needed caused by your
pet shedding or allowing a dirty pet
into the cabin, you will be charged a
minimum of $50 for cleaning and
exterminating our guest cottage.

Pets MUST NOT be left unattended in your
guest cottage, nor left outside public
entrances.

Pets must be at least one year of age

Pets must be on a leash or in a cage AT
ALL TIMES when not in your guest
cottage.

Pets are NOT allowed on the beach.

Pets are not allowed on the rental
boats.

OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP
AFTER THEIR PETS!

Dogs only, 2 pet limit. There is a
strict 50 pound weight limit per pet!
Any violations of these rules will
result a loss of all monies paid
including your deposit and you will be
asked to leave the resort, sorry.

Owner is responsible for any damages
caused by pet, including but not limited
to; clogging of drains caused by washing
pet, chewing of furniture, and damage to
room linen or damage to carpet.

Pets are allowed in designated pet
friendly cabins only. If you are not in
one of these cabins, you CANNOT have a
pet. Any unauthorized pets in a cabin
are subject to a $300.00 fee and you may
be asked to leave the cabin immediately
with no refund.

All pets must be current on all
vaccinations.
