Winter and the potential hazards to your boat's engine are here. You are a valued customer of Highland Marina and therefore we are offering a special winterizing service for your engine. We have Evinrude, Johnson, & Mercury authorized technicians available for all of your off-season service needs.
The service includes:
Protecting fuel with 2+4 fuel treatment.
Protect engine & fuel system with fogging oil.
Change lower unit oil.
Grease outdrive and steering fittings.
Check trim and power steering fluids.
Drain engine block and manifolds (I/O & Inboard only).
Disconnect battery to help prevent discharge.
Re-install all hoses and fittings so that when Spring comes all you need to do is connect the battery & go.
Inspect engine for any obvious potential problems.
Due to the increase in winterizing service requirements after November 1st, we have included an incentive for those of you who will not be using your boats until next season. The fees for the special winterizing service are:
